While 'Timerider' may not have won any awards it was a rollicking good time from a whacked out screenplay from Nez and Bill Dear. "Time travel smells like broccoli"? You bet. Fred Ward is Lyle Swann, an off road motorcycle racer who gets tossed back a hundred years into the Baja. All he's got is his motorcycle and a map from an Exxon station. Nez wrote and recorded all the music with help from a longtime friend John Hobbs, and was the executive producer (read 'paid the bills') of this near-first feature for Dear. Dear's first? 'Northville Cemetery Massacre'. Nope. We haven't got that one, but you'll like this one. In the words of Lyle Swann..."Who the hell ARE you people?"

And the long-sleeved T-Shirts that Nez's 'Timerider' racing team used to wear always receive compliments. The 'Timerider' logo is written along the sleeve and along the back.
